Emily Graydon grew up in the village of Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast, within sight of the North Shore mountains. She has spent most of the last decade traveling, exploring the world and working in different areas of BC. As a certified snowboard instructor, she followed winter to various mountains in pursuit of pristine powder, and it was actually a back country run-in with an ill-placed tree that piqued her interest in massage therapy as a form of reparative healing of soft tissue. Massage is also a powerful tool in preventative healthcare.
Emily is a graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, having completed 3000 hours of curriculum study and 550 hours of hands-on clinical and outreach experience. She is excited to share and expand her practice as a Registered Massage Therapist.
After a detailed assessment and history taking, Emily works with clients to help them achieve their optimum health goals—and absolutely any goal is valid. In addition to expert hands-on treatment, she may suggest a personalized treatment plan and an individualized home care routine for each client. These may consist of stretching, strengthening, stress management, postural awareness and tips on bio-mechanics.
